Exam Problem Solving

I focus on modelling exam-style questions clearly and methodically, with an emphasis on deep thinking rather than shortcuts. Problems are broken down step by step, using precise diagrams and careful articulation, so students develop confidence and depth in their mathematical thinking under exam conditions. Will offer Easter revision and exam practice sessions to prepare for the final exams.

GCSE Maths

Expert support across both Foundation and Higher GCSE Maths. I work with Foundation-tier students to secure strong passes and build confidence, while delivering high-level teaching for Higher-tier students aiming for grades 8 or 9. Teaching is both concept driven and exam-focused, with learning geared towards depth, accuracy, and critical thinking that improve results.

KS3 Maths Support

At Key Stage 3, the focus is on understanding, not a “cookery-book” approach of following steps without meaning. I teach the principles behind the maths, using clear explanations and diagrams so ideas make sense rather than being memorised. This early emphasis on understanding builds confidence, develops genuine interest in the subject, and lays the groundwork for success at GCSE and beyond.
